Biometric Data Policy

1. What Biometric Data We Collect

We may process the following types of data which could be classified as biometric:

• Face Geometry: When you upload a photo or video to create a custom AI avatar, our systems analyze facial features to map movements and expressions.
• Voiceprints: When you upload audio samples to clone a voice, our systems analyze vocal characteristics (pitch, tone, cadence) to create a synthetic voice model.

2. Purpose of Collection

We use this data solely for the following purposes:

• To generate the specific video or audio content you requested (e.g., making an avatar speak your text).
• To create and store a custom "voice model" or "avatar model" for your exclusive future use within the platform.
• To verify that the content complies with our safety policies (e.g., detecting deepfakes of public figures).

We do NOT use your Biometric Data for identification or surveillance purposes.

3. Consent

You must own the rights to any media you upload. You represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary written waivers, releases, and consents from any individuals originating such media to allow us to process their Biometric Data as described in this policy.

4. Retention and Destruction

We will not retain Biometric Data longer than is reasonably necessary to satisfy the purpose for which it was collected.

• Session Data: Temporary biometric analysis used for a single generation is deleted immediately after the generation process is complete.
• Saved Models: If you explicitly save a custom Voice or Avatar, we retain the underlying model until you delete it from your library or terminate your account.
• Maximum Retention: In all cases, Biometric Data will be permanently destroyed within 3 years of your last interaction with the Service, or sooner if required by law.

5. Disclosure

We will not disclose, redisclose, or otherwise disseminate your Biometric Data unless:

• You explicitly consent to the disclosure.
• The disclosure is required by state or federal law or municipal ordinance.
• The disclosure is required pursuant to a valid warrant or subpoena issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.
• It is necessary to our third-party vendors (like cloud inference providers) who enable the Service, provided they are contractually bound to protect the data.

6. Data Security

We use a reasonable standard of care to store, transmit, and protect from disclosure any Biometric Data collected. We store such data using encryption and security measures that are at least as protective as those we use for our other confidential and sensitive information.
